Camp Koolaree
2011 marks the 80th Anniversary of Camp Koolaree!!!!
Who Are We??? Camp Koolaree is an incredible 137-acre wilderness camp on Kootenay Lake; rustic and in the woods! There are no roads, no radios, no electricity — just an opportunity to grow, to learn and to “Be still and know that I am God”. Established in 1931, Camp Koolaree and its beaches, dock, trails, mountains behind and lake in front make it a true wilderness setting.

If you'd like to help out the camp, here are some items we’re looking for as our season is starting. You can drop them off any time during the year at your local United Church, and we'll make arrangements to pick up the items.

pine cleaner
corn brooms
melmac plates
melmac mugs
plastic (not disposable) drinking cups
cooktop percolator
coffee dispenser (pump & drink)
